CBSE Revaluation, Verification, and Answer Sheet Copy- Simple Guide

CBSE offers three ways to get them reviewed: Verification of Marks, Photocopy of Answer Sheet, and Revaluation. Each option serves a different purpose and follows a specific process.

1. Verification of Marks

This is the first step if a student doubts their marks.

  • CBSE will check if all answers were evaluated, marks were added correctly, and no question was left unchecked.
  • If any mistakes are found, the marks will be corrected.
  • Students can apply for verification online by paying a small fee.

2. Photocopy of Answer Sheet

After verifying their marks, students can request a scanned copy of their answer sheet.

  • This allows them to see how their answers were marked and check for any errors.
  • Only students who have applied for verification can request a photocopy.
  • The answer sheet will be provided online through the CBSE portal.

3. Revaluation (Rechecking of Answers)

This is the final step, where students can request a detailed review of specific answers.

  • If a student believes that a particular answer was unfairly marked, they can apply for revaluation.
  • Only those who have received a photocopy of their answer sheet can request a revaluation.
  • If the marks change after revaluation, the updated score will be final, whether it increases or decreases.

Results of CBSE Class 10 Revaluation

The CBSE Class 10 revaluation results for 2025 are expected to be released in the second week of June. The revaluation process is there to make sure your performance is assessed fairly and accurately. If you truly believe your work wasn’t judged correctly, don’t hesitate to ask for a review.
