CBSE Announces Tentative Exam Dates for Class 10 & 12, Giving Students More Time to Prepare

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the tentative CBSE Date Sheet 2026 for Classes 10 and 12. According to the schedule, the exams will begin on February 17, 2026. 

Class 10 exams (Phase 1) will run from February 17 to March 9, and optional Phase 2 exams will be held from May 15 to June 1, 2026. Class 12 board exams will continue till April 9, 2026.

All exams will be conducted in pen-and-paper format in a single morning shift starting at 10:30 AM. Since the date sheet has been released nearly five months before the exams, students now have plenty of time to plan their preparation effectively.
