CBSE Announces Timetable for Class 10 Supplementary Exam 2025

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the timetable for the Class 10 supplementary exams 2025. These exams are meant for students who either failed in one or more subjects or want to improve their marks.

The supplementary exams will take place from July 15 to July 22, 2025. The full date sheet was released on June 27, 2025, and is available on the official CBSE website – cbse.gov.in.

What Are CBSE Supplementary Exams?

CBSE conducts supplementary exams every year for students who:

• Couldn’t clear one or more subjects in the main board exams.
• Want to improve their performance in a particular subject.

This is a second chance for students to save their academic year without repeating the entire session.

CBSE Class 10 Supplementary Exam Timetable 2025

Subject-wise schedule for the exams. Most papers start at 10:30 AM and may end at either 12:30 PM or 1:30 PM, depending on the subject.

Note: Students should confirm their subject-wise schedule from the official CBSE website or their admit card.

The admit card for the CBSE Class 10 supplementary exam is a mandatory document for appearing in the supplementary exams. The process to download or collect the admit card depends on whether the student is a regular candidate or a private one.

For Regular Students

If you are enrolled in a school (regular student):

• Step 1: Your school will download the admit card from the CBSE portal using their school login.
• Step 2: You need to collect it directly from your school in the first week of July 2025.
• Step 3: Both student and parent signatures are required on the admit card.
• Step 4: If you find any errors (like name, subject, or photo), immediately report it to your school.

For Private Candidates

If you are a private student:

• Visit the official website: cbse.gov.in
• Look for the link that says: “Admit Card for Supplementary/Compartment Exam 2025”
• Enter your:
  • Application number OR
  • Previous year’s roll number OR
  • Candidate name
• Download and print the admit card

The CBSE board is expected to release the Class 10 supplementary exam results in the first week of August 2025.

Once declared, students can check their result at:

To check the result, students must enter:

• Roll number
• Date of birth
• Centre number
• School number (available on the admit card)
