What Happens After Revaluation?
Once the revaluation is completed, your marks can:
- Increase
- Decrease
- Remain the same
If there is any change in marks, the new grade will be shown on the updated marksheet. Students are advised to download the revised marksheet from the official websites using their login credentials.
Understanding Scoring Below 20 Marks
In the Kerala SSLC exams, scoring below 20 marks in any subject results in an E grade, which stands for "Needs Improvement." This is not a passing grade. Here’s why it matters:
- E grade is the lowest in the nine-point grading scale
- It indicates the student has not met the basic academic expectations
- The minimum passing grade is D+, which requires at least 30% marks
Students with an E grade must appear for the supplementary exam to improve their scores
Students who fail in up to three subjects or wish to improve their marks can appear for the SAY (Save A Year) exams. These are scheduled from May 28 to June 2, 2025. The results for these exams are expected by the end of June 2025.
