Expected Result Date for NIOS April 2025 Exams

• Class 12: Most likely in the third week of June 2025
• Class 10: Usually follows a bit later, expected in the last week of June 2025

The official result dates are not yet declared by NIOS, but this is the typical timeline based on previous years.

Checking your result is very simple. Just follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website: Go to results.nios.ac.in.
2. Enter your enrollment number: You’ll find this on your admit card.
3. Fill the security captcha: Enter the characters shown on the screen.
4. Click ‘Submit’: Your result will appear on the screen.
5. Download or save: Don’t forget to save a copy or take a printout for future use.

If the website is slow or you want alternative methods, try these options:

1. SMS Method

You can also check your result via SMS.

For Class 10:
Type NIOS10 <EnrollmentNumber> and send it to 56263
 Example: NIOS10 210245189765

For Class 12:
Type NIOS12 <EnrollmentNumber> and send it to 56263

2. DigiLocker

NIOS also uploads the result on DigiLocker.

• Go to digilocker.gov.in
• Sign in using your Aadhaar number or mobile number
• Find “NIOS” in the issued documents

What You Need for Checking Your Result

Make sure you have the following ready:

• Your 12-digit Enrollment Number
• A stable internet connection (if checking online)
• Your admit card or hall ticket (to double-check your enrollment number)

After Checking Your Result

Once your result is displayed:

• Download the provisional mark sheet
• Visit your study center to collect the original mark sheet and passing certificate
• If you’re not happy with your marks, you can apply for rechecking or revaluation

Revaluation is available only for Class 12 theory papers (not practicals or Class 10).

Steps to Apply:

1. Visit nios.ac.in
2. Click on the “Examination/Result” section
3. Select “Rechecking/Re-evaluation”
4. Enter your enrollment number and choose the subject(s)
5. Pay the required fee online

Fees and Time 

• Public Exam: ₹800 per subject
• On-Demand Exam: ₹1000 per subject
• You must apply within 15 days from the date of result declaration.
• Revaluation results will be available within 60 days.

Note: Only one revaluation request per subject is allowed, and the result will be final.

Important Notes on Revaluation

• No revaluation for Class 10 or practical exams, only rechecking/retotalling is allowed
• If your marks increase after revaluation, you may get a refund
• Marks may also decrease, so think carefully before applying

Result Correction

If you find a mistake in your result (name, DOB, subject, etc.):

• Apply for correction within 30 days
• Fee: ₹50 per correction
• Contact your study center or visit the official website
