To pass the TN HSC exam, students must meet certain criteria set by the board. These include securing the minimum required marks in each subject, both in theory and practical (if applicable). Here's a quick look at the key requirements:
- You must score at least 35 out of 100 in each subject.
- For subjects with practicals, you need a minimum of 15 marks in theory and must appear for the practical.
- There’s no minimum mark for practicals, but attendance is mandatory.

What If You’re Not Happy with Your Marks?
- Revaluation/Rechecking: Available for students who believe their papers were not evaluated correctly. You can apply online after the results are out. DGE will soon announce the dates and steps.
