TN HSC  Class 12 is declared, and if you’re not happy with your Tamil Nadu HSE Class 12 result 2025, you have the option to request a revaluation of your marks.

What is Revaluation in Tamil Nadu HSE Class 12?

Revaluation is the process of re-checking your evaluated answer sheet. It ensures that all answers have been marked correctly and totals have been calculated properly. 

This is only available after you’ve received the scanned copy of your answer script. Based on the revaluation, your marks may increase, decrease, or remain the same.

Who Can Apply for TN 12th Revaluation 2025?

  • Students (regular and private) who are not happy or satisfied with their Class 12 results.
  • You must first apply for and obtain a scanned copy of your answer script for the subjects. You wish to apply for revaluation.
  • Applications must be submitted through your school (for regular students) or exam centre (for private candidates).
  • Revaluation is only allowed for subjects where a scanned copy has been received.

How to Check TN Class 12 Revaluation Results 2025

If you’ve applied for revaluation of your Tamil Nadu Class 12 (HSC/Plus Two) exam papers, here’s how you can check your updated results for 2025:

1. Visit the Official Website

Go to any of the official result websites:

On the homepage, look for a link that says something like “TN HSE 12th Revaluation Result 2025.” It may be listed under the latest notifications.

3. Enter Your Details

Type in your registration number and date of birth exactly as shown on your admit card.

4. View Your Result

Your revised marks will be displayed on the screen. You can download or print it for your records.

5. Check for PDF List (if released)

Sometimes, the board may release a PDF file with roll numbers of students whose marks have changed. Make sure to check if your number is listed there.

6. Collect Your Updated Marksheet

Once results are out, your school will give you the revised marksheet. This updated version will reflect your final scores after revaluation.

  • The revaluation result is final and cannot be changed again.
  • You must have applied for a scanned copy of your answer script before revaluation.

Step-by-Step Process to Apply for TN 12th Revaluation 2025

1. Apply for Scanned Answer Script

Before revaluation, apply for a scanned copy of your answer script from your school or exam centre.

2. Download the Revaluation Form

  • Visit the official DGE Tamil Nadu website: 
  • Go to “Higher Secondary Examination”
  • Download the “Revaluation/Retotalling II” form

3. Fill and Submit the Form

  • Take a printout and fill in all required details (name, roll number, subject names).
  • Submit the form through your school (regular candidates) or exam centre (private candidates).

4. Pay the Revaluation Fee

  • ₹505 per subject
  • Pay in cash or follow the instructions provided by your school or exam center.
  • Collect the fee payment receipt and attach it to your form.

5. Application Deadline

  • Apply within 5 days of result declaration.
  • TN 12th result was released on May 8, 2025
  • The last date to apply is around May 13, 2025.

6. Result Publication

  • Revaluation results will be announced online in June 2025.
  • If your marks change, you will receive a revised marksheet from your school.

No. Unlike CBSE, the Tamil Nadu HSE Class 12 revaluation process is not fully online. You must:

  • Fill it manually
  • Submit it in person through your school or exam centre
  • Pay the fee as instructed by your institution

Can I Get a Refund If My Marks Don’t Change After Revaluation?

No. The revaluation fee is non-refundable, even if your marks remain not unchanged. The fee is charged for processing your application, not for a guaranteed outcome.

The revaluation result is final, and no further appeals or refunds are allowed.
